Hi! I’m Jennifer or Dr. Jen. I’m a licensed veterinarian with 20+ years of practice experience. Although I love taking care of all my furry friends and their owners, I REALLY love playing with words.
I began proofreading professionally during a 5-year hiatus from practice while we were in the process of adopting our youngest daughter. At the time, transcript proofreading gave me the freedom to be with our daughter as she underwent several heart surgeries.
I quickly realized my love of working with words and expanded my knowledge and experience by completing several editing courses through Edit Republic. Currently, I offer line editing, copyediting, proofreading, and medical content writing. I still practice part-time as a relief veterinarian but spend the remainder of my days helping writers polish their work.
I love to work with indie authors and new business owners as we work together to bring your product to the market!
